CHIPS thanks every family, that allows us to visit and investigate their homes.
We do realize and understand this can be a very personal and frightening experience.
One of our main objectives is to instill trust in you and help you cope and understand why these phenomenon are happening.
We also realize the experience one person is feeling is very "real" to them and can be very frightening.
Most of the CHIPS team members have had their own paranormal experiences, so we do understand your fears!
We explain to the family in detail, what to expect when we return and try to calm their fears and address their concerns to the best of our ability.
The investigation is done in four phases.

One of the leading priorities that we have is location research.
When we get a call that a location is so called "haunted," certain members of the team do extensive research on the property location..
When information is available to us, we concentrate on past owners, deaths that occurred on the property, what the land was used for before its current use and so on.

All interviews are audio taped for future reference.
We will set up a date and time to interview the residents. We will familiarize you with the equipment twe use in investigations and why it is used. We will then answer any questions or concerns you may have.
At this time, an in-depth questionere is filled out with all family members present. Afloor plan is drawn, roomsare labeled, and photos are taken outside and inside of the home.
We then set up a date to return for the actual investigation.

At that time, we will introduce our team members and proceed with our investigation.
Upon completion, we will set up a return date to reveal our findings.

We review our findings with you and the family present. We try to explain the evidence in a way that you can understand.
Sometimes you might hear what you don't want to hear, it is our job to be honest and open.
We are always available if there are future problems in the home.
We review our findings carefully with an open mind. We do hope that you realize just because we didn't find spirit activity at this time, doesn't mean it isn't there!
"As a paranormal investigative team, we have a responsibility to you and ourselves."
We still have a lot to learn. When doing research there is always something to learn.
We will not present any evidence that has not been thoroughly scrutinized by our team.
We try to debunk all evidence, and that which cannot be debunked, might just prove to be paranormal.
